Full Day Workshops

Learn modern alchemy using silver clay and capture the nature around us.  The class is packed with lots of hints and tips designed for you to start your journey using this wonderful product.

Metal clay is like adult ‘play-doh’ and is made up of recycled silver, an organic binder and water. It can be moulded and shaped like clay then fired with a torch or in a kiln.  The binder then burns away and you are left with a fine silver piece of jewellery which can be hallmarked.

One of the big advantages of working with metal clay is that it is easy to carry on working at home after the class, as you don't need very many tools or equipment as you do with traditional silversmithing.
